How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Payment processing: When you make a purchase, your payment details are transmitted directly to and processed by our licensed third-party payment provider(s), which are independently responsible for securing your payment data in accordance with applicable card industry standards. We receive only transaction status and reference information, not your card details.
- Infrastructure and hosting providers: We use Cloudflare for content delivery, security, and performance, and Supabase for database hosting, authentication, and file storage. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations, and do not use your data for their own purposes.
- Email delivery providers: We use third-party email infrastructure to send transactional emails such as receipts, verification links, and account notices.
- Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bosla, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: If Bosla is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the protections described in this Policy.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure, access-controlled infrastructure provided by Supabase and protected in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption. Access to personal data within Bosla is restricted to personnel and systems that require it to operate the Platform. While we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active and as necessary to provide the Platform, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Course purchase and acceptance records are retained as permanent audit records even after account deletion, as they may be required for legal, financial, or dispute-resolution purposes. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and subject to applicable law, including Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 where applicable, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements.
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, such as optional marketing communications.
You can update most account information directly from your account settings. To exercise any other right, contact us at privacy@lbosla.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
Children's Privacy
The Platform is intended for professional and adult learners and is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
International Data Transfers
Our infrastructure providers may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where this occurs, we rely on providers that maintain appropriate contractual and technical safeguards to protect your information consistent with this Policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify you through the Platform or by email.
